Unfortunately, Bridge Publishers did a poor job putting the book together, with numerous typos, editing errors (such as combining letters from two people into one), and small type. Still, if you can look past these pecadillos, this is an enjoyable book.4/5.

His novels generally have Christian themes, and his best known work includes the The Chronicles of Narnia series (including The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) and the Space Trilogy novels, a science fiction series.
One of C. Lewis’ works of fiction, or more specifically allegory, this book is clearly modelled upon Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress, as Lewis cleverly satirizes different sections of the Church.
Lewis at the same time was becoming known in literary circles, initially by publishing articles and book reviews. His first scholarly book, The Allegory of Love: A Study in Medieval Tradition (), was highly praised and established his reputation as a leading figure in British literary studies.
